BREAKING NEWS: $620.000; Court Remands Hon Farouk Lawan In Prison

Unconfirmed report has it that Hon Farouk Lawan has been remanded in prison till the 8 of February when his application will be heard.
He was charge to court on a seven-count charge bearing on corrupt enrichment.
The charge stems from allegations by a businessman, Chief Femi Otedola, that Lawan demanded and received $620,000 as a bribe from him while he (Lawan) was the chairman of the House adhoc Committee on Monitoring of Fuel Subsidy Regime.
