Aromolaran Calls For Peace At Re-run Election

THE paramount traditional ruler in Ijesaland, Oba Gabriel Adekunle Aromolaran has again advised the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) not to turn his domain, particularly Ilesa, into a battle field during the forth-coming re-run election.
Oba Aromolaran gave the advice when the embattled Governor Olusegun Oni of Ekiti State and other PDP members visited him in his palace over the forthcoming election in which Oni was named the Chairman of the campaign Committee for the sacked Senator Iyiola Omisore.
According to the monarch, Ijesa people are law-abiding, peaceful, but stated that the people detest cheating.
He stated that contest for political offices should not be a do-or die affair, stating that only God selects who becomes an Oba, leader of the people, stressing that people should wait for God to bless their ambition.
Oni said that the team was in Ilesa to commence campaign on the re-run election to ensure victory for the PDP candidate, as directed by the Court of Appeal, which nullified his earlier election into the upper chamber of the National Assembly.
Oni further stated that they could not but pay a courtesy visit to the paramount traditional ruler. The team also visited the Aloko of Iloko-Ijesa, Oba Oladele Olasore in his palace at Iloko-Ijesa. Olasore however, informed the team of his support to the course of the team, as he wished them victory.

If our royal fathers stood by their words, the PDP will be sent packing no matter the gift being offered to the kings.
Our royal father should always play a father role not partician role at all bcos their the father for everybody, and they can pray for all party not to take one as their pet
In one of the sayings of the holy prophet[SAW] he said; ”If you are shameless,then do whatever you wish”. Thisis the case ofa shameless segun Oni [ a thief Leading campaign for another ”robbery operation”. If Oni have a shame, he suppose to bury his head in Ifaki being a wordly known mandate robber.
Thank God that the election did not hold.Our ruler is after his integrity not yeye money and contract.
