I see this as a face-saving measure by the president’s men, and one of the unholy attitudes of the falling ruling cabbals.

Here is my question to Iyabo: Why did Iyabo waited to write her father a letter until after her father’s open letter to GEJ? Was she disappointed that her father attacked GEJ? What is the relationship between her and President Jonathan? Was GEJ waiting for Iyabo (his friend’s) letter before his own response? If she can answer these questions, she would have my sympathy; otherwise, her issue with her father is purely a dysfunctional family affair that should be separated from National issues.

Iyabo you are simply angry because your father refused to allowed you and PDP to rig in Ogun state general election in which you lost woefully. And since then you have being so rude to your father in many occasions. Awon omo Ale gbogbo

I am not holding brief for the obviously angry lady (iyabo) but i do think revenge is best served cold, and thats exactly what she did. Hahahaha yorubas wont cease to amuse us.

Dear Iyabo
If you think your father did nothing good in your life to deserve all these, expect the worst from your children in manifold.
Your open letter doesn’t represent your level of exposure and education, moreso, this is alien to your culture in Yoruba land except your PhD means “pull him down”.
Kindly reconcile with your dad in earnest and carry along your siblings.

Honour thy father and thy
mother so ur days may be long
on earth… thus says the bible.
Your father has played his part
on earth, reached a level where u
can never get to before ur end,
created a good record and better
family name for u all, during his
period of crisis, conviction &
imprisonment you all abandoned
him except stella according to u.
that u only came to nigeria when
he was about been sworn in as
president in 1999 to reap the
fruit of other peoples labour
including stella who stood by her
husband through thick and thin…
To further show hw self centred
u are.. u said during my fathers
period of incanceration, we were
not cared for, only stella was
going around collecting monies
in his name.. i want to ask you, at
the age and time ur father was in
prison, who needed care the
most.. you or your dad? With his
influence u were a commissioner
and a senator of the federal
republic. what else do u want
from your father.. u cant run him
down, u cant sell him to his
political adversaries, ur letter
shows how greedy and self
centred you are, to have tried to
soil the obasanjos family name
for a seat in jonathans
government,. Are u his only child?
but u re most popular for what
he made you. Yet u re not
satisfied.. you re an ingrate, a
prodigal daughter , you have put
a curse on yourself already for
publicly insulting ur Dad in a bid
to run him down in a country he
fought so hard as a soldier to
keep one. You have killed ur
political career in nigeria, cause
no one can entrust u with
information with all these
betrayal against ones own father.
we thought ur letter contained
issues of national interest only to
discover it was a revelation of
hw ur Dad did not take care of u
while he was in prison.. Was that
supposed to be a letter to
Nigerians? dont u have a family
head or kinsmen? now that u
have brought ur domestic or
internal family problem to the
public.. what do u expect from
the public.. a round of applause,
insult on ur father, disrespect
and disregard for ur Dad?
Assasination of ur Dad? tell
nigerians what u want us to do

Bukky it is obvious that you are either ignorant or at best badly educated and pretty mixed up upstairs. Ifeoma said nothing wrong, It appears you sadly lack the ability to clearly separate facts from petty tribal sentiments. Pls desist and be better informed before venting in a public forum as this. Ifeoma seems to know our Yoruba culture better than you!

Eboes are getting desperate by the day. They have pinned their hopes on Jonathan’s Presidency and now that it is slipping away from them, they now engage in all kinds of dirty tactics. They have now resort to blackmail and fake news that they are well known for. Lazy fools. Eboes are losers.
