Tope Alabi estranged Pastor, Ireti Ajanaku was a cultist?

Pastor Ajanaku and Tope Alabi - during the good old days

Pastor Ajanaku and Tope Alabi – during the good old days

It was claimed that Prophet Ireti Ajanaku resurrected but this may have been a false attempt to keep his memory alive by some of his church members

The Prophet, Tope Alabi estranged spiritual father has already been confirmed dead and the Oro traditional worshippers have allegedly conducted a funeral rite for the late pastor.

The Report according to Gazelle News has it as thus:
Incredible! Oro Worshippers Hold Funeral Rites For Pastor Ajanaku
By Jumu’ah Abiodun

It may sound incredible but it is true. The late founder and spiritual leader of the Christ Revival Victory Chapel International, Pastor Elijah Iretiola Ajanaku, might have belong to the Oro cult in his lifetime.

Residents of Ikola Odunsi, where Ajanaku lived before he breathed his last on Saturday evening at Gbongan in Osun State, were surprised early Tuesday morning when Oro masquerades went to town in funeral rites for the departed ‘Pastor’.

The funeral rites which began at about 12.30am ended between 3 and 4am.

The Oro worshippers chanted the name of Ajanaku throughout the night. The worshippers marched through the streets of Ikola Odunsi, Ikola Gbenaje, and landed at the deceased’s street, Folarin Williams Close.

They were chanting, “Ajanaku lo, o di gbere”, meaning “Ajanaku is gone forever, adieu”.

If this report is actually the truth; then we should all be weary of whom we take our problems to in the name of ‘Man of God’.

This is the most stupid form of journalism that I have ever seen. The whole story is full of contradictions….U wrote that ”It may sound incredible but it is true. The late founder and spiritual leader of the Christ Revival Victory Chapel International, Pastor Elijah Iretiola Ajanaku, might have belong to the Oro cult in his lifetime.” yet it is obvious from what u wrote later that you are not even sure..later in thesame story you wrote again ”If this report is actually the truth; then we should all be weary of whom we take our problems to in the name of ‘Man of God’’. This is not a story but a malicious conccoction..I wonder where the writer studied journalism!! NOTE: I dont know the dead pastor and i dont know Tope Alabi…but it irritates me when I see people doing poor work!!

      Nice talk mr kayode.

    • People are just Anti-Christ, and need to know the exact truth before publishing. The target is to tarnish Christ, the first informant was Jumuah, is that not like an Islamic name?.Oro-cult can comes out for any prominent indigene of yoruba- land without even being a member, because if the community sense that the man was either killed spiritually and it is a loss to that village where he comes from, a loss of a glorious son of their village, Oro-cult people may do their stuff, without even being begged to do it, the dead do not know what the Ocultist are doing at his back.

whatever the case may be, even while Jesus was alive we heard of Bar-Jesus, so there will always be false- prophets, only God knows the secrete, dark-things. Tope Alabi would not know the last things that are dark that the man did before his death, more so, she had part ways with him, before the man died,so why target Tope Alabi?.

As to d best of my own knowledge as someone that was also very close to him like tope alabi, i can bet it with anyone that he was not a real man of God.I delibratly left his ministry in 2007 when i realised it.

Judge no man dats wat d bible taught us… So I believe no one shd judge someone’s by completion. As for Oro tinz, it nothing cos in my own town Oro group can mourn a prominent indigene especially if during his/her youth has done somtin great for d community… Oro isn’t a cult, its a youth fun group in nowadays setting, young guys sing Ekute even releasing d cassette/audio CD… So be wise… Of a truth, d bible has a set a standard… LET ALL THAT WORSHIP HIM, WORSHIP IN SPIRIT. Gbam!

I am seriously dump founded, just that we need τo understand that though pple might be exaggirating abt the whole tin but there is τ̲̅ђi§ yoruba saying that ” o jo gate, ko jo gate… I rest ma case.

Letz fink well b4 we talk, pastor Obadare died of recent. And we did nt hear any fin like ORO in his home town cos his from Osun state, if am correct. My reply goes to favour nd ortherz dat support him bury by d Oro-cult. Favour said since pastor iretiola ajanaku was a prominent indigen of his home town, dat dere is nt bad 4 d oro-cult to bury him, ao many oro-cult do u hear about pastor Obadare or d wife of pastor kumuyi. I can neva call him a pastor cos is a sin callin such person a pastor. Iretiola ajanaku was a disgrace to d entire world!! So also his fellowers, u guyz better go look 4 better living church and join dem instead of worshipin human being. Since he has d power, y can’t he heal him self.

“Erin ti wo, Ajanaku ti sun” is a popular Yoruba adage that’s being pronounced whenever a reputable figure dies. It shouldn’t surprise a right thinking and cultured Yoruba person if such is chanted… If the late Prophet was a member of d cult as alleged, they should have visited his corpse and probably make some atonement on it. This report is purely defamatory.

We all know that this life is a life of battle and everybody has his or her own problem and if any pastor pray for u and fortunatly u later shout for joy, you will never forget about that pastor. So consining the isue of Tope Alabi: i dont think we should judge her wit Ajananku because posibly she may not know the power behind thisProphet. Also we cant judge Prophet Ajanaku too becase the (oro) that take path in the feneral of prophet Ajanaku it can be their traditional ways for anybody that is popular in the town for the burial. But i believe that King of kings, Lord of lords, Heavenly Father knows the Truth behind this. But the Bible says: Judge no body.As for me and my family we will always serve the LORD.

  35. Hephzibal

As i said before as for me and my family serve The LORD.So also this isue want every body to know who you are serving as your Lord. To call a spade a spade dont follow the word coming out from your pastors mouth but follow the word in the Holy Bible. The Bible says : Narrow is the way that leads to Heaven, and wide is the way that leads to Hell fire. Chose your choice..
